Accessibility Audits & Action Roadmaps

Turn findings into action. Expert-led WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility audits and EAA-aligned technical evaluations go beyond identifying potential compliance issues.

We combine manual accessibility testing, assistive technology evaluation and structured evidence to uncover barriers across websites, applications and complex digital journeys.

Our audits help teams understand where requirements may not be met, what practical impact barriers can have, and how findings can become clearly defined, prioritised engineering work.

Discuss an accessibility audit

Technical Accessibility Evaluation

We assess features, prototypes, established services and connected digital ecosystems. Scope reflects your objectives, technologies, accessibility risks and applicable requirements.

Website Accessibility Audits

Public and transactional websites, e-commerce platforms, web applications, customer portals and public-sector digital services.

Mobile Accessibility Audits

Responsive mobile websites, iOS and Android applications, mobile interaction patterns and platform accessibility compatibility.

Component and Feature Audits

Forms and validation, navigation, menus, modals, authentication, calendars, search, filtering, dynamic content and complex interactive components.

End-to-End Journey Audits

Account creation, discovery, booking and purchasing, checkout and payment, customer support, third-party integrations and multi-step transactional journeys.

WCAG 2.2 AA, EAA and Accessibility Requirements

Technical evaluations can be scoped against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and, where relevant, EN 301 549 and technical requirements connected with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). UK engagements may also consider the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

EAA obligations depend on the products, services and jurisdictions involved. A WCAG audit provides technical evidence but does not establish EAA compliance or replace legal advice.

Beyond Automated Accessibility Scanning

Automated checks can identify some common issues, but cannot find every barrier or explain its impact. We combine them where useful with expert-led manual WCAG accessibility testing and assistive technology evaluation.

Depending on scope, we examine keyboard access, screen reader compatibility, names, roles and states, focus, forms and errors, dynamic content, Voice Control, magnification, reflow, mobile and alternative input. For focused compatibility testing, see Assistive Technology Health Checks.

Research with disabled and neurodivergent participants can add lived-experience insight when separately included in scope; it is not part of every audit. See Inclusive Research & Disabled-User Testing.

Findings Your Teams Can Act On

Structured findings explain what is happening, where it occurs, which requirements may be affected, its potential impact and how to reproduce and address it.

Issue and Technical Context

Descriptions of affected components and accessibility failures, with relevant browsers, operating systems, assistive technologies and interaction methods.

Reproduction and User Impact

Steps for developers and QA teams to recreate an issue, alongside an explanation of practical effects on people using different interaction methods.

Standards Mapping

Relevant WCAG success criteria and other applicable technical requirements, identified in the context of the agreed audit scope.

Remediation and Evidence

Practical recommendations for design and engineering teams, supported by screenshots, video clips or assistive technology demonstrations where appropriate.

Findings can be formatted as developer-ready recommendations or Jira-compatible tickets to fit established engineering workflows.

Prioritise. Remediate. Validate.

Prioritised roadmaps can consider user impact, critical journey dependencies, recurring component and design-system issues, reusable fixes, sequencing and retesting. They help teams focus resources and address systemic causes rather than repeatedly fixing symptoms.

Outputs can inform sprint planning, backlogs, product roadmaps, QA and accessibility governance. Your organisation remains responsible for implementation and delivery decisions.

Expert-Led Testing. AI-Assisted Efficiency.

Where appropriate, AI-assisted workflows can organise observations, map evidence to agreed assertions, identify possible patterns and prepare structured reports. Accessibility specialists lead the evaluation and verify outputs; AI does not replace manual testing, expert judgement or independently determine WCAG conformance. Client information is not submitted to external AI services without appropriate agreement.

Accessibility Audits That Fit Your Project

Commission a focused assessment of a feature or journey, a broader audit of a product or digital ecosystem, or recurring reviews alongside release cycles. Scope determines testing depth, technologies and standards coverage; follow-up retesting can validate whether reported issues have been resolved.

Clear Findings. Actionable Roadmaps.

Depending on scope, outputs may include an audit report, WCAG 2.2 AA findings, EAA-aligned technical evidence, a prioritised issue register, remediation roadmap, reproduction steps, assistive technology observations, Jira-compatible recommendations, and retest or validation results. Screenshots, recordings, user-impact notes and stakeholder presentations may also be agreed.

Built for Teams Responsible for Digital Accessibility

Our audits support accessibility leads, product and UX teams, engineers, QA, procurement and digital transformation programmes, including public-sector organisations. Findings help teams prioritise delivery, strengthen QA and validate improvements across individual services or wider digital ecosystems.
