Strategic Procurement & Supplier Testing

Test before you commit. Independent accessibility and usability evaluation of third-party software, digital suppliers, white-label services and technology platforms—helping organisations make informed procurement decisions.

We translate business requirements and real-world user journeys into structured, repeatable tests that reveal accessibility barriers, usability concerns and potential risks before contracts are awarded. Expert manual testing, assistive technology evaluation and, where appropriate, research with disabled and neurodivergent participants provide evidence for supplier selection.

Discuss supplier testing

Independent Evaluation Before Investment

Our supplier accessibility testing can support shortlisting, procurement, proof-of-concept trials, contract renewal or replacement of existing technology.

Third-Party Software & Digital Platforms

Evaluate commercial software, SaaS products, business applications and digital platforms against practical needs.

Vendors & Technology Suppliers

Independently assess supplier products against agreed accessibility requirements and realistic user scenarios.

White-Label & Integrated Services

Test third-party journeys, embedded components, external integrations and supplier-managed experiences.

Procurement & Product Selection

Compare digital solutions to identify accessibility risks, practical limitations and opportunities to improve.

Real-World Testing. Comparable Evidence.

Supplier statements and accessibility documentation, including Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs), are useful starting points—not proof of how a product works in practice. We can review documentation and investigate discrepancies between supplier claims and observed behaviour.

Assessments can be informed by WCAG 2.2 AA, EN 301 549 and applicable European Accessibility Act requirements. We combine expert manual accessibility testing, assistive technology testing with screen readers, Voice Control, magnification and keyboard, and realistic business and user tasks. Moderated research with disabled and neurodivergent participants can also be included where agreed.

Compare Suppliers on More Than Claims

We translate business requirements and user needs into structured scenarios and granular test assertions that can be applied consistently across competing products. This comparative accessibility evaluation makes the evidence transparent without reducing accessibility to a single score.

Findings can capture critical task outcomes, interaction barriers and workarounds, assistive technology compatibility, user impact, recurring issues, supplier-specific limitations and remediation opportunities. Procurement, accessibility and product teams can use this evidence to understand relative strengths, weaknesses and material risks.

Technical Assessment Meets Lived Experience

Where included in scope, moderated research with disabled and neurodivergent participants can reveal practical barriers, interaction strategies and user needs that expert testing alone may not uncover. Participants’ experiences provide evidence in their own right, helping challenge supplier claims, inform evaluation criteria and show how different solutions work in practice.

Evidence for Better Procurement Decisions

Depending on the engagement, deliverables may include structured evaluation criteria, comparative accessibility findings, manual and assistive technology testing evidence, documentation reviews, supplier risk assessments, prioritised issues, screenshots or recordings, research findings and technical questions for suppliers.

Recommendations and remediation requirements help organisations ask informed questions, establish clearer supplier expectations and identify concerns before purchase. This is independent evaluation, not legal certification or a guarantee of supplier compliance.
