Live Disabled-User Demonstrations
Facilitated sessions with disabled and neurodivergent testers using everyday assistive technologies to navigate real digital experiences.
Show it. See it. Understand it. Make accessibility barriers easier to see, understand and act on through live demonstrations, recorded walkthroughs and practical knowledge-sharing sessions.
We bring real digital experiences into focus using assistive technologies, expert evaluation and, where appropriate, demonstrations with disabled and neurodivergent testers. Using your own websites, applications and digital journeys, we help product, design and engineering teams see how accessibility works in practice and turn technical findings into shared understanding and action.
Discuss a demonstrationFacilitated sessions with disabled and neurodivergent testers using everyday assistive technologies to navigate real digital experiences.
Specialist-led demonstrations of screen readers, Voice Control, keyboard navigation, magnification and other interaction methods.
Focused recordings that capture barriers, workarounds, interaction failures and validated improvements using real digital experiences.
Practical demonstrations, facilitated discussions and Q&A sessions that help teams understand accessibility and apply what they learn.
Source Accessibility can facilitate live demonstrations with members of its Disabled Test Panel (DTP), bringing genuine lived experience into product discussions. Participants use their everyday assistive technologies and interaction methods to explore agreed features or digital journeys.
Sessions can reveal unexpected interaction barriers, different navigation strategies, workarounds, additional effort, cognitive friction, barriers affecting independence and opportunities to improve usability. We can also include facilitated Q&A, enabling product, design and engineering teams to ask testers directly about their experiences, approaches and the barriers encountered. Where agreed, follow-up communication channels may continue after the demonstration, arranged with participants’ consent, clear boundaries and appropriate facilitation.
Watch Adi Latif navigate a real digital experience using a screen reader. The demonstration reveals how unclear labels, confusing navigation and inaccessible interactions affect independence — showing why observing real users provides insights that technical reports alone cannot communicate.
The player provides English auto-generated captions. A separate verbatim transcript is not currently provided; the description above summarises the barriers and user impact explored in the demonstration.
Watch the DemonstrationOur live sessions create opportunities for teams to observe disabled testers using their everyday assistive technologies, ask questions directly through facilitated Q&A, and explore the barriers and workarounds encountered. Where agreed, follow-up channels allow conversations to continue, helping teams turn observations into practical product improvements.
Demonstrations can use a client’s own website, mobile application, internal platform, prototype, customer journey or third-party product experience. We can explore how interactions behave with JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers, Apple Voice Control and Windows Voice Access, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, iPhone and Android accessibility features, and other relevant assistive technologies.
Sessions can be tailored to specific features, journeys, user needs or internal learning objectives, making it easier for teams to connect practical accessibility principles to the actual decisions they make every day.
Short, focused recordings can support accessibility investigation, remediation and internal communication. Depending on scope, recordings may demonstrate a barrier, capture screen reader announcements, show focus and keyboard interaction, illustrate Voice Control difficulties, document navigation or interaction workarounds, show user impact and compare interaction patterns before and after a fix.
Video evidence can complement accessibility audit reports, Jira and developer-ready tickets, inclusive research findings, training materials, product and design discussions and stakeholder presentations. It does not replace accessible written descriptions, technical reproduction steps or clear recommendations. Where recordings feature participants, their consent and agreed recording permissions must be respected.
Demonstrations create opportunities for practical learning and discussion. Depending on scope, sessions may include facilitated observation, live Q&A with disabled testers, product-specific accessibility discussions, technical questions and demonstrations, follow-up workshops, knowledge-sharing channels and recorded examples for internal learning.
The aim is not simply to show what failed, but to help teams understand how the barrier affects real people and what can be improved. Where agreed, Source Accessibility can also support follow-up channels through the client’s existing communication tools, such as Slack or other approved platforms, with any continued participant involvement arranged and scoped appropriately.
Depending on scope, outputs may include live accessibility demonstrations, facilitated disabled-user testing sessions, expert assistive technology walkthroughs, participant Q&A sessions, follow-up knowledge-sharing discussions, short accessibility evidence clips, annotated recordings, product-specific observations, written findings and technical context, developer-ready evidence, remediation and validation demonstrations, and training materials.
