Accessibility Strategy & Planning
Practical guidance to help organisations define priorities, responsibilities, processes and improvement goals.
Build capability that lasts. Practical accessibility training, strategic guidance and mentoring that help teams make more informed decisions and build accessibility into everyday work.
We combine tailored workshops, hands-on learning and live assistive technology demonstrations to make accessibility relevant to your people, products and priorities. Rather than generic examples, we can use your own websites, apps, components and user journeys to show how different interaction methods work in practice.

Workshops and awareness sessions designed around roles, products, existing knowledge and real accessibility challenges.
Live examples of screen readers, Voice Control, keyboard navigation, magnification and other interaction methods.
Support for individuals and teams as they apply accessibility knowledge in design, development, research and QA.
Source Accessibility can use your own website, app, prototype, component or digital journey as the subject of accessibility learning. Instead of demonstrating tools only on generic examples, participants can see how screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, Voice Control and other interaction methods behave within the real products they work on.
Demonstrations can include JAWS, NVDA and Apple VoiceOver, Apple Voice Control and Windows Voice Access, mobile accessibility on iPhone and Android, and alternative interaction methods such as switch access where relevant. This helps teams understand how issues such as unclear labels, missing announcements, unexpected focus behaviour, inaccessible forms or confusing navigation affect usability and independence in practice.
Depending on scope, training can include live demonstrations or moderated sessions with disabled and neurodivergent participants. Participants may explain how they navigate, where they encounter barriers and which workarounds they rely on. This deepens understanding beyond technical checklists and helps teams challenge assumptions, rather than simply validating what they already believe.
These sessions can be distinct from expert-led demonstrations. We can support learning through a guided product walkthrough, facilitated discussion or live research observation, while being clear about the difference between product testing, assistive technology demonstration and lived-experience participation.
Mentoring and strategic guidance help teams apply what they learn during real projects. Depending on the engagement, this can cover accessibility responsibilities and ownership, inclusive design considerations, WCAG 2.2 AA awareness, acceptance criteria, accessible component reviews, manual testing techniques, assistive technology testing, QA and regression checks, issue prioritisation and remediation discussions.
Sessions can be tailored for product managers, UX researchers, designers, developers, QA teams and accessibility leads. The aim is not to deliver the same training to every team, but to build practical understanding that supports better decisions across the product lifecycle.
Training and mentoring can be delivered through focused awareness sessions, hands-on workshops, live assistive technology demonstrations, product-specific accessibility walkthroughs, moderated disabled-user testing demonstrations, team Q&A sessions, one-to-one mentoring or longer learning programmes. Formats can be remote or in person for UK organisations, with content shaped around the audience, project and objectives.
Depending on the engagement, outputs may include tailored training sessions, practical demonstrations, product-specific accessibility observations, workshop materials, guidance and recommendations, accessibility testing techniques, mentoring sessions and follow-up support. The intended outcome is stronger internal capability, clearer decisions and a more confident approach to accessible product development.
We do not promise formal certification or guaranteed competence from a single session, but we do help teams build the understanding and practical confidence they need to improve accessibility in the work they do every day.
